Description

TEGO® Antifoam 2290 is a self-emulsifying APEO-free organic antifoam concentrate. The product is absolute free of silicone and does not contain any silica.

Typical Applications

TEGO® Antifoam 2290 destroys foam or prevents foam formation reliably in aqueous media and may be used for foam control in a variety of industrial applications, even there where the use of silicone and silica is not accepted
 

• Process aid for water-based polymerization of dispersions, thermoplastics and elastomers (e.g. de-monomerisation of SBR or NBR emulsions, handling of acrylates)
• In formulation and application of polymer dispersions/latices (e.g. adhesives based on acrylates or PVAc, paper coatings or others)
• In a multitude of other industrial applications
